Sounding reports:

Conclusion · assumed

If gold (XAUUSD) falls 2%, the scenario estimate is a loss of about 1,249 USD on the account, taking equity from 25,153.34 to about 23,904.13 USD. Margin level would be about 427%.

The only open position in this scenario is a long 1.5 XAUUSD at 4,080.76. The EURUSD short has no P&L effect.

Caveats:

This is hypothetical. Nothing was placed or changed.
Figures come from a fixture account, not a real balance.
Dollar-per-point values were derived from the reported P&L, not from contract specifications.
Margin requirement was held constant. A real broker may raise it during a sell-off, which would make the outcome worse.
Evidence is rated "assumed" overall.

Not answered: the data does not show how a 2% move compares with recent gold volatility, or how past gold drops of that size played out. Sounding did not return either analysis.
